Denmark is beautifully set on a tree covered hillside along the Denmark River. Surrounded by trees, this charming town is "where the forest meets the sea".
A relaxed environment and friendly people make it a perfect place to visit or stay. For almost thirty years Denmark has been a major wine producing area of
Western Australia. Located along the south coast of Western Australia,
the Rainbow Coast has a Mediterranean climate - perfect for growing cool climate wines.
The Noongar Aboriginals have been inhabiting the region for an estimated forty-thousand years call the Denmark area "Koorabup" which means, "the place of the Black Swan."
