Nullaki Distillery Cellar Door is set high on Mount Shadforth, with spectacular views across the valley, over Wilson Inlet and the Nullaki Peninsula to the Southern Ocean. Nullaki Distillery is a welcoming, working distillery, offering a relaxed and friendly cellar door experience. Step inside the modern space and discover small-batch single malt whiskies that reflect the care of the distillers and the character of the region. Begin with a guided tasting flight showcasing whiskies matured in carefully selected Tawny and Pinot casks, with flavours of caramel, spice, rich red fruits and subtle pepper. Pair your flight with locally made chocolates or a cheese platter, carefully matched to the drams in your glass. You can also enjoy a single dram or one of Nullaki’s signature whisky-based cocktails. At the centre of the distillery is the Tasmanian-crafted copper still. Simply drop in, enjoy a tasting and take in the views. Open: Wed & Sun: 12pm to 5pm Thurs - Sat: 12pm to 7pm
Inside the Denmark Good Food Factory, The Right Distillery creates handcrafted spirits in small batches, combining passion with a playful edge. Visitors can sample an inventive range that includes fruit ‘cellos in lime and orange, aromatic sambuccas in white or black, rich amaretto, spiced rum, tequila, and smooth liqueur whisky. Gin lovers are well catered for, with flavours such as rhubarb and ginger, pomegranate, pink, pure botanical, and the locally inspired Green’s Pool. For something a little different, there’s peanut butter whisky, coconut rum, cinnamon whisky, and toffee tequila — all available to taste and take home in a choice of sizes. Sharing the same site, the Elephant Rock Cider Company produces nine refreshing ciders made exclusively with Great Southern fruit. Light, zesty, and unfiltered, they’re best enjoyed by the paddle or glass alongside a meal from the on-site restaurant. With Denmark’s biggest ice cream cones for the kids and bold spirits for the adults, it’s a destination that offers flavour for everyone.
