Adventure the Rainbow Coast
Western Australia

There are many ways to have adventures on the Rainbow Coast:

Walking the Bibbulmun Track

The Bibbulmun Track stretches from Kalamunda in the Perth hills to Albany, in the heart of the Rainbow Coast. The track was officially opened during Western Australia's 150th year celebrations, included involved over 1000 walkers on different stages. There are almost fifty campsites along the Track which are spaced one day's walk apart.

4 Wheel Driving

Some of the most accessible Four Wheel Driving tracks include Torbay Inlet (near Albany), Peaceful Bay (towards Walpole), and William Bay National Park's Mazzoletti Beach. One of the most secluded and dramatic is Boat Harbour.

Humpback WhaleWhale Watching & Whale Watching TOURS

Each year tourists from around the world visit the Rainbow Coast to catch a glimpse of the whales. The Great Southern Ocean is home to a huge whale population who breed and feed in the bays. These beautiful creatures pass us during their migration as they travel between the warmer northern waters and the cooler seas surrounding Antarctica. More about the whales of the great southern ocean.
