Mead, the oldest alcoholic drink, much read about and rarely tasted is available for tasting at Bartholomews Meadery. One of the few meaderies in Australia, it has won many awards, and is a must see destination. An Ice creamery is also part of the attraction for the children (and adults), as is the Glass viewing hive to see the queen and all the bees at work. Pure Unprocessed honey from the Southwest of WA can be tasted and purchased in the mud brick building surrounded by Native Bushland.
